I have had a passion for photography since I was a young girl. My father bought me my first camera when I was eight years old. It was a Brownie Camera and I took it everywhere with me.

When I was in junior high my sister joined the Army and gave me her Yashica 35mm camera. I joined a camera club in school and won first place in a “ Black and White” photo contest. I was hooked!

Life goes quickly and changes fast. When I remarried my husband saw how happy I was when I was taking pictures. He purchased a small point and shoot digital camera and again I started my photo journey. I bought a Canon 20D and landed a photography job at Plainridge Racecourse as their Racetrack Photographer.

With my new friends at the HDP I am always learning more.
