New club member, Rich Hinds, has had an exhibit of his work on display at the West Bridgewater Public Library for the past few months. He was a seed to share his photography with interested townspeople and others. About a dozen of us came to hear his talk.
Rich has used HDR (High Dynamic Range) to improve those images that had both bright highlights and dark shadows. The resulting HDR image compensates for both extremes and give an all-over better picture. Many of his shots came from the nine years he spent in the LA area. Slowly he is adding New England scenery to his portfolio.
Rich will be moving on to the Bridgewater and East Bridgewater Public Libraries over the summer.
