TWENTY- ONE Nature Patterns – new Challenge record!

Stairs

Not sure where Jeff W. found these but aren’t

you somewhat curious as what’s up there?

Marian found no snow on these risers from

                                    Diamond Head, Oahu!

Pat was in Boston, NH where she shot these.

Ed found this great looking spiral staircase!

“Stairs to Heaven” Lynne’s shot had

an added bonus those interesting shadows!

 ”Cordage Stairwell” Maureen has captured

my curiosity with that red glow at the

                                 top of the spiral staircase!

”Beach Stairs” – Phil’s addition to the challenge

Tom found these framed stairs at Cordage Park in Plymouth.

(ED Note – I felt it wouldn’t be a true McSweeney if it wasn’t in B&W)

Jac’s claiming the distinction “Oldest Stairs” – any older???

Jim’s stairs – not looking too sturdy, there!

(George E. Keith Shoe Factory Complex, Brockton)

Rich’s “Xmas Bling” – Boston’s North End

“Greg’s Stairs” – no, really his stairs!

Joe – “Our NEW stairs and landing!”

Patterns in Nature

Number TWENTY- ONE – new Challenge record!

“Graceful Pair” – Kathy’s natural patterns!

“White Pine Cone” as seen by Ed.

“Grass Plumes” Rick has been waiting for just the right

moment to shoot these. I think he found it!

Al’s birch bark is actually a coded message left by former

inhabitantsBeing part Native American, I was able to

roughly translate, “Bewary of Hockomockers bearing

objests that steal your face!” Or something like that. . .

Chris D. found this tree for our “Patterns in Nature.”

Patterns? You want patterns in nature?

Get in touch with CAMNATS Pat.

Jim added this for “Patterns in Nature”

“A Mushroom with Tree Rings” Jeff W.’s double score!

Frank saw these natural patterns in the sand -

webprints and ripples (and no dragonflies).

Another HDP Newbie, Joe F. wanted to add this to our

Monthly Challenge.

Phil’s “Swaying Trees”

Rookie HDP member, Cherie offers up this -

for “Patterns in Nature.”

Tom sent along these leaves for his “Patterns in Nature”

(Do you think we’ll EVER see a color image from him???)

“Milky Quartz Crystals with Montmorillonite Inclusions”

(I warned Ron that nobody likes a know-it-all!)

Rich found this wasp nest and wasn’t stung!

Around Nov. 1st, this rose blossom lights up Mariann’s yard!

Dried up vegetation from Steph’s backyard.

(She is getting up and about and may be dropping by.)

Bill C. found some great colors as well as patterns here!

“Maine Fossil” from Jac’s collection. . .

Marian’s “Sycamore Bark”

From the WB Town Park, I found this bark on a tree!

Junque / Junk

Joe F. managed to get his “junk” image before

it’s time to close out this challenge!

Ron found this on a roadside in Berkley.

(Looks better than my tractor and plow!)

Jim Weidenfeller wouldn’t divulge the location.

(I saw this on “American Pickers,” really.)

Where else would Joe look for JUNK

than the town dump, er, Transfer Station!

“She has a leg up on you!” Phil H.

                                  {This isn’t from Bali, is it :) }

Bill found this upscale home in a very trendy neighborhood!

“Sea Junk” Marian found this sea junk on land of all places!

“Jac’s Junk” Appears to more like land junk. . .

“Bridgewater Recycling Center” HDP Rookie, Toni

added her image to the challenge.

“Junk or a Classic – In the Eyes of the Beholder?”

Rich found this treasure on a recent excursion.

Ed made a visit to our transfer station a few weeks

after my shot and the junk is all different!

“For Sale or Rent” Ralph found this “Relic” in a Bourne

boat yard. Possible field trip to Block Island on this??

“Junk or Treasure?” Al says it’s your call.

(Harvard Flea Market)

Chris D. found this farm implement on her travels.

”Junk Mail” Mariann appears to be the “Queen of Junk Mail!”

Matt sent this image along – nice piece of junk!

No idea what this contraption is the Rick sent in. . .

Alex came across this pile of junk and wanted to share it with us.
